Tile roofs are valued for their durability, their insulation properties and, of course, their aesthetic and architectural qualities.
Ahwatukee Tile roofs can last for a very long time, however we suggest performing a professional annual inspection of your tile roof after it passes the age of 13. During our inspection, we will lift the tile to assess the state of the underlayment.
Signs That It May Be Time To Replace Your Tile Roof
- Rotting wood around the eaves and fascia
- Dry and brittle underlayment under the tile
- Evidence of leaks in the attic, on your ceiling or on your walls
Our tile replacement process, called Raise & Reset or R & R, involves removing and stacking the roof tiles, replacing the underlayment with two layers of new fiberglass-reinforced underlayment. Should any tiles be damaged or cracked during the removal process our experts can locate identical replacement tiles or very closely matched tiles. If you prefer replacing your tiles with all new tiles, we can provide you with an estimate on that also.
